1- Setting up your payment information

Go to the Withdraw page and set up your payment information with Stripe to receive the donations directly to your bank account

2 – Create your project

Create your project here via the tab below, NOTE: YOU NEED TO SET UP YOUR PAYMENT SETTINGS FIRST IN ORDER TO RECEIVE DONATIONS

3 – Wait for approval

Once you submitted the project our team will review it and you will receive an email as soon as the review is done. Please see our Project rules so that you don’t submit a project against our policy ( Your project will be evaluated within the following 48 hours )

4 – Get funded!

Once your project is approved, you can start sharing it with friends and family as well as on your social media to gain the financial help you need! The team at Fundballet will help you promote your project.

How do refund works?

  • If you are the project creator, you can refund a charge via the Dashboard:
    1. Find the charge to be refunded in the payment overview page.
    2. Click the  icon to the right of the charge and select Refund payment from the menu that appears.
    3. By default, you will issue a full refund. For a partial refund, enter a different amount to be refunded.
    4. Select a reason for the refund. If you select Other, you must provide an explanatory note that is attached to the refund.
    5. Click Refund.

Once issued a refund, you won’t be able to change it.

Can I get a refund for the donation I have made?

  • To refund a donation is one of the terms a project creator has to agree when signing up to use our services. Is always possible to be refunded on a donation made.
    Refunds can only be sent back to the original payment method used in a charge. It’s not possible to send a refund to a different destination (e.g., another card or bank account). Refunds to expired or canceled cards are handled by the customer’s card issuer and, in most cases, credited to the customer’s replacement card. If no replacement exists, the card issuer usually delivers the refund to the customer using an alternate method (e.g., check or bank account deposit). In rare cases, a refund back to a card may fail.

Most banks deposit payouts into your bank account as soon as they are received, though some may take a few extra days to make them available. If you would like to change this schedule simply log in to your Stripe account and click on the voice payouts

HOW TO CREATE A PROJECT

 

1 – Create an account or sign up with Facebook. We recommend creating your profile and project through your computer.

2 – Create an account with Stripe and connect it to your Fundballet account through the “Withdraw” tab on your dashboard. Follow this link to see how to Connect a Stripe account

3 – After connecting a Stripe account, Create your project through the dashboard

4 – Your project will be checked by our team and you will get approved or denied within the following 24 Hour

 

5 – You are ready to raise money, you can now share on your social media and get funded!

 

 

 

HOW TO SUPPORT A PROJECT

 

1 – Search for the project you would like to support by clicking the tab “Explore”

 

2 – Click “support now”

3 – Type in the amount you would like to donate

4 – Enter credit card details

During the payment, if you would like, you could donate any amount you desire to fundballet.com, to help us improve and expand this platform.

5 – Share the project you support on social media so that other people can help as well!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS STEP BY STEP GUIDE IS THE SAME FOR EVERY COUNTRY. THE INFORMATION THAT YOU WILL INPUT WILL HAVE TO BE THE SAME AS EXPLAINED BELOW, THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WILL BE THE COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LEAVE

 

  • Once you sign up, click connect with Stripe located on the withdraw tab

 

 

  • Choose your Country of residence

 

  • On “product information” please type FUNDBALLET 

 

  • On account details select INDIVIDUAL / SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP

 

  • Enter your address

  • As “website” type www.fundballet.com

 

  • Insert your personal details

 

  • As a Business name type in your full name, this is for Stripe to be able to release a bank statement later on

 

  • Fill in your bank details so that you will be able to receive the money from your Stripe account

  • Insert your email and password to access your Stripe account

 

  • If you have inserted the correct credentials, you will be redirected to Fundballet and on your payments setting, the Stripe logo will appear like this.

You are all set, ready to get funded!

  • 1,4 % (stripe fees) + 0.25 (credit card provider fees ) for every donation made with a European Bank Account
  • 2,9 % ( Stripe fees ) + 0.25 ( credit card provider fees ) for every donation made with a NON-European bank Account
  • 5 % application fees for every donation

 

Please note that all donations are going to be charged into the EURO currency automatically by your bank at the time of the deposit. Extra fees because of this may be shown on your bank statement.

 

Are you a donor

-All of your donations are protected by our partner, Stripe. Stripe is a worldwide payment method that allows you to donate to any campaign in the most protected way. Your data will never be saved and all of your donations will automatically go to the creator’s stripe account, without having to go through us. The donations are directly between you and who you would like to support. If you wish to have a refund on your donations, please contact us at [email protected]

Are you a creator

– All of the money donated to you will automatically go to your Stripe account that you associated with your creator profile. The money will be deposited within 7 days with no third party getting involved.

– The project must be related to the dance world and has to fit into one of the categories listed

 

-You can create a project under someone else’s name only if you are trying to help them. In this case, it has to be stated that the person is not you and that you are opening this campaign to help the person in need

 

– Do not impersonate anybody, this action is against our terms. If we are made aware that you are doing so we will terminate your account and the money sent to you will have to be refunded to the rightful owners

 

-We as Fundballet, are entitled to place your campaign on hold, modify, or even delete it, if we consider that you are violating any of our guidelines or terms. If this action takes place, you agree on Fundballet not being responsible for any damages.

 

-We as Fundballet, are allowed to use the material you have uploaded, such as videos or the project itself, as advertisement and post it on our social media pages.

 

– The project, once submitted, will be evaluated by our team, and we will get back to you within 24 hours with an approval or rejection.

 

-If your account information has been stolen or you lost/forgot your password, please contact us at [email protected] immediately

 

-You have to be over the age of 13 to use Fundballet, if you are under that age and would like to create a project with us, please make your parents create an account for you. If so, please state it.

 

– Once the project is approved, you can start sharing it all over your social media to gain the financial help that is needed, with no limitations.

 

-Do not provide us any information that is fake, or by any means that does not belong to you, such as account details, email address or proof of ID

 

-Do not use any physical or multimedia material of which you do not have the rights.

 

-Do not attempt to receive donations with the use of strong language or by provoking someone through online posts or messages on your social media platform. If we are informed of such behavior your project will be deleted.

 

-If you are aware that someone is donating money to your project with a credit card that is not of their belongings, please report it to us via the email [email protected]

 

– The money received from every donation will be deposited into your Stripe account and will automatically be moved to your bank account and will be available within the following 7 business days, according to your location and your payout settings on Stripe

 

-As a project creator, you agree to refund any donations that you may be asked to refund. To do so, you will have to connect to your Stripe account and refund the donation from your dashboard. See the FAQ pages or get in touch with Stripe from your account for more information

 

-When someone asks for a refund, the donor will contact us via email, after he does so, we will contact you via email and we will let you know which donation has to be refunded

 

-If you do not hold a bank account where the money can be sent to, please fill out the Stripe registration form with one of your family member’s account details.

 

– There is a maximum time limit of 1-year where you will be able to keep your project alive. After the one year limit, we will contact you via email to close the project. No money will be lost as every donation goes directly to your Stripe account and automatically to your bank account

 

-You will put a total amount that you would like to raise, but when you hit the amount desired, you can still raise more money before you decide to close the project

 

-There is no need to withdraw the money, they are directly sent to your stripe account after each donation and then automatically to your bank account. The money will automatically be sent to the Stripe account you have linked to your profile. When a payment is first received, it is initially reflected as a pending balance. This balance becomes available according to your payout schedule, they will be sent automatically to your bank account

 

– With every donation, there is a 5% fee taken from ‘Fundballet’, and for every donation, there are the fees set by our payment providers, Stripe. Our payment partners Fees depends on location from where the donation is made.

 

– The projects are created using the EURO currency because we are based in Europe. The currency that people donate to you will be automatically converted to Euro (€) as soon as the donation has been received into your Stripe account. You will subsequently withdraw the money from your Stripe account and transfer to your bank with your local currency.

 

-You use the service that we provide at your own risk. When you start a project you agree to release, indemnify on demand and hold Fundballet harmless from any losses, damages, expenses, and actions of any kind and injury arising out of or relating to your use of the Services.

 

-We as Fundballet, we are entitled to make changes to your projects, such as editing in any way or form or translating it in any language we have the need to translate it to, for self-promotion or any possible interaction on any social media at our disposal.

 

-The following points are the criteria of evaluation. At Fundballet, we give the opportunity to dancers to create a crowdfunding campaign to support their project. We approve the projects if they fit in all the criteria listed below

  • Sexual content
  • Violence
  • Nudity
  • Misperception content

  • Any sort of display of Alchohol, drugs or harmful substances
  • Impersonification of other people
  • Not dance related

Dear Project creator,

Fundballet is officially partnered with Stripe payment getaway. As the first step to launch your campaign click on connect with stripe and fill up the form with your information as asked by Stripe. ( see link for how to set up a stripe account )
Once you filled up all the credentials of the Stripe form, Click AUTHORIZE ACCESS TO THIS ACCOUNT. This will connect your Stripe account to your Fundballet account, by doing so, you will receive the money directly to your bank account.
Once you completed your registration with stripe, you will be redirected to your Fundballet account.

We, Filippo and Lorenzo are professional ballet dancers respectively in South Korea and Slovenia. We know the financial struggles that families go through to sustain a dancer’s dream. From flight costs, summer schools, audition, to pointe shoes and shows etc. We believe that all aspiring dancers should be able to reach their full potential without having to face financial obstacles.
